"It burns off in cooking!"
No. It doesn't all burn off, and even if it did,
many Muslims will simply not eat food prepared with alcohol (e.g.
Beer Battered Fish, White Wine Sauce).
Best Practice: Explicitly label menus: "Contains Alcohol".
4. "Is the Chicken Halal?"
Many fast food chains (Nando's, KFC) have Halal branches and non-Halal branches. If organizing a team lunch, check specifically. Do not assume.
